Seven Things I Loved In March

Hello and welcome to another 'seven things I loved in...' post! I hope you all enjoyed March just as much as I did. I've done some really fun things this month! I went to a concert, met two of my favourite youtubers, got blonde balayage hair again and had a nice day together with my mom! I also watched a very funny series and read a book which I was really curious about. So it's been a pretty fun month and I can't wait to tell you more about these things that I loved in March!

Marina and the Diamonds, The Neon Nature Tour

I recently saw the gorgeous Marina and the Diamonds live in Tivoli in Utrecht (the Netherlands). I discovered her when Glee covered her song 'How to Be a Heartbreaker' in 2013, and I just loved that song! But my love for her music and style is mainly because of my friend Floris who always plays her music videos when I'm at his place, and we both love to sing along and dance to her music! So her music also reminds me of those fun times with my friend Floris, which makes me love her songs even more.

Paint With Me: Watercolour Sea Animals

I love pinning drawings and paintings on Pinterest, especially watercolour paintings! My 'Drawings and Art' board is by far my biggest board on Pinterest. After pinning several watercolour paintings of sea animals, I thought, why not try to paint some myself? And then I thought, why not share it on my blog as well! So I hope you're ready to paint some watercolour sea animals with me today! :) Ready? Let's paint!

My Favourite Online Resources for Design Inspiration

As a Communication and Multimedia Design student, finding new inspiration and keeping up with design trends is also a big part of what I'm doing. I have talked about finding inspiration offline before, but today I want to talk about online inspiration! The internet is full with resources for finding (design) inspiration. I think we all know the most known ones like Instagram, Tumblr, Bloglovin and Pinterest but I'm not going to talk about those today, even though I check those regularly too. Today I want to share 3 of my favourite online resources for design inspiration that you may not know already! These 3 websites focus on high quality and professional designs and are perfect for all kinds of design inspiration.

Seven things I loved in January

Welcome to another 'seven things I loved in...' post, a blog series in which I share seven things that I loved over the past month! Not just products, but also events and other random things that I enjoyed.
The first month of this year has been really great! I've finished my project for University, watched some great series, and had more time to exercise! But the highlight of January was definitely assisting the designer Happy Andrada during the Fashion Week in Amsterdam! I'll tell you all about those things and more in this post, so keep on reading! ;)

How to Maintain a Long Distance Friendship

When I moved to London for my internship about a year ago, one of my biggest fears was that my friends would forget about me, or that I would lose friends. Being far away from my friends was something new for me, something scary, something I've never dealt with before. During that time I learned that there are ways to maintain a long distance friendship. I also made new friends in London, and unfortunately I now live miles away from them but the things that I've learned during my time in London really helps me to maintain those friendships as well. Maintaining a long distance friendship can be hard, and not all friendships are strong enough to survive when you're miles apart, but there are definitely ways to increase the chance of maintaining a long distance friendship.

Macro Ring Light Review

Hi everyone! I've been on a little blog break for a few weeks because I got a little overwhelmed by all the things I had to do for school and other things besides my blog, but I'm back! I said I would write a review on the macro ring light that I bought recently, and here it is! I bought a macro ring light mainly because I was curious and I wanted to try it out. I also liked that you can have the ring light on constantly so it's also very useful for filming! I've used this flash in several blogpost so far and I mentioned it in '7 things I loved in November.' For those of you who are looking for ways to improve your (blog) photos, this ring light might be the thing you need! In this post I'll tell you my experience with this ring light so far, the pros en cons, I'll show you some test photos and I'll compare it with my other external flash (Canon speedlite 430EX).

Seven things I loved in December

Happy new year everyone!! I hope you all enjoyed the festive season and that you had an amazing December. I was quite busy with school in December because my school project is coming to an end and the last weeks of a school project are always the busiest ones. But luckily I also had some time to do other things as well this month! I bought a few new things (especially Lush products) and in this post I tell you more about these things, and other things that I loved in December!
